Rachel Perkins


CrossFit allows athletes of all ages, backgrounds, and ability to train under one focus: functional movement. As an occupational therapist (COTA/L), I am constantly pushing clients to be as functionally independent as possible. Crossfit is an extension of what I do daily, providing or adapting clients with functional and meaningful therapy. I first started CrossFit as a way to remain competitive after playing volleyball throughout high school and closing out my college career in 2012. I enjoy competing and coaching new athletes.

Favorite Movement(s): deadlifts, back squats, and burpees!

Favorite Workout/Type of Workout: My favorite type of workouts contain barbells with heavy weights. An ascending deadlift ladder after an explosive metcon is always fun!
