CrossFit is great because of the lifestyle change and the community. The biggest part for me is definitely competition/community. Being active is so much easier with the crowds that are centered around it.
My background coming in was high school cross country and track. It is fun looking back and seeing myself graduation at a mere 130lbs, and the change that has happened over the years. Training style will never go away for me, even when I eventually remove myself from the competition side of it.

Favorite Workout/Type of Workout: Anything that is high skill based, something that can show how well versed an athlete is all around. Maybe the CrossFit Regionals workouts.
