Interested in a workout program for your child that is fun, wears them out, teaches them valuable life lessons and they can do with their friends? Then CrossFit Kids is the program you’ve been waiting for! Classes are broken down into three groups based on age and maturity level.
CrossFit Kids is meant for kids roughly between the ages of 3 and 9. Classes will meet three times a week for 30-minutes and focus will be on having fun while also teaching the foundational movements of CrossFit. We want them to run, jump, squat, roll and play!
Pre-Teens CrossFit is meant for our 9 to 12 year old group. The class meets 3 times a week for 1-hour focusing on fun ways to find more polished movements, learning to lift weight and applying basic gymnastic skills in workouts.
Teens CrossFit is meant for our 12 to 18 year olds. It meets five times a week for an hour and looks similar to our Adult CrossFit classes except that we will be allotting time in class for higher level skill work and challenging sessions after the workout that will aim to improve skills and build character. Additionally, we will discuss the importance of nutrition and scholastic studies in class. We want to build your kids up in class so they become better humans out in the real world.
Teens Weightlifting meets twice a week for one hour with the goal of adding volume and repetition, taking advantage of this critical time in your child’s development. The goal will be optimal form and control of weight.
